Srinagar: Bandipora-Gurez road  reopened for the traffic movement on Wednesday , after the closure of five consecutive days due to a recent heavy snowfall in the valley.

An official said that after clearing all the snow, the road has reopened today for the vehicular movement.

The Gurez road till Tragbal will remain open for two way traffic and one-way traffic is allowed from Tragbal to Dawar. The road was closed last week after Kashmir witnessed a heavy snowfall.
