Srinagar: Suspected militants on Friday afternoon fired upon a police party near Food Corporation of India office in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district critically injuring one policeman.

Sources said that the militant attack took place immediately after the congregational prayers ended in the district.

Meanwhile, sources said that government forces have cordoned the area and launched a manhunt to nab the militants.
