Srinagar: Srinagar district administration on Wednesday ordered suspension of class work in all educational institutions, including Kashmir University in wake of a gunfight that left three militants and a policeman dead.

Officials said that schools and colleges in this capital city, including Kashmir University, the highest seat of learning will remain closed today as a ‘precautionary measure’.

Three militants and a policeman were killed in a gunfight in Fateh Kadal area of Srinagar city today morning.
