South Kashmir: Shopian shuts against killing of Hurriyat activist

Srinagar: The southern Kashmir’s Shopian district is observing a complete shutdown against the killing of Hurriyat activist, Tariq Ahmad Ganie (43), a resident of Meminder village of the district.

Ganie was shot dead by “unknown gunmen” near his village after he left his house.

All business establishments and shops are closed in the district while thin movement of private traffic was seen on the roads.
