Srinagar: A youth has suffered bullet injury during stone pelting clashes near the encounter site in Handwara, sources said on Thursday.

Sources said that the youth was hit by a bullet in leg as clashes between government forces and civilian youth intensified near the encounter site.

They said that the injured youth was identified as Mudassir Ahmad.

“He was shifted to a local medical facility from where reports said he is being shifted to Srinagar hospital.”
