Srinagar: The upper reaches of Kashmir Valley on Tuesday received a fresh snowfall, while rains lashed plains leading to a drop in temperature.

The upper reaches of the Valley, including the world famous ski resort of Gulmarg received fresh snowfall causing dip in the temperature, officials said.

Sonamarg tourist spot also received fresh snowfall much to the excitement of the tourists.

Srinagar and other parts of Valley received overnight rains, officials said.

Pertinently, weather department has predicted light to moderate rain/snow till October 10 across Jammu and Kashmir.
