Srinagar: A woman was injured with pellets as clashes erupted in parts of northern Kashmir’s Bandipora district, where local bodies polls are underway.

Reports said that Shabeena, wife of Javid Ahmad Dar was injured after being hit by pellets when clashes erupted in Lankreshipora village.

Clashes erupted after angry protesters attacked a police vehicle with stones.

Clashes also erupted in Plan area of Bandipora near government girls higher secondary school. The government forces used teargas shells to disperse the stone pelting youth.
