Srinagar: A detainee on Friday gave police a slip and escaped from custody in Sopore.

Police sources said that an Over Ground Worker of militants escaped from Police station Sopore Friday morning.

He has been identified as Mehraj Khan alias Maroof a resident of new colony Sopore. He was arrested a few days back during a naka checking by police.
