Srinagar: Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign has been a Success in Jammu and Kashmir even as the number of children who have been administered the vaccine has crossed 8 lakh mark in just 9 days of school activity.

A communique said: “It was a festive atmosphere across all the schools. Vaccinated children were happily displaying their vaccination completion certificates.”

Director Family Welfare, MCH & Immunization Dr. Samir Mattoo expressed satisfaction over the process so far and said: “We are hopeful that the coverage will increase in the coming days and appealed that people should not pay heed to rumors and get their children vaccinated.”
