Srinagar: Two militants have been killed in the ongoing gunfight between militants and government forces in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Reports said that the dead bodies of two militant shave been recovered from the site of the encounter. “The search operation is still on,” they said.

Reports said that that the gunfight broke out early Thursday morning after forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Panzan village of the district.

They said that militants hiding in Jami Masjid Panzgam opened fire on the forces triggering a gunfight.
