Internet service restored in Kashmir capital

Srinagar:Mobile  internet services were restored on Thursday evening in Capital City, Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir,where a youth was killed during a Cardon and search opration(CASO) in the early hours today.

2G, 3G and 4G internet services were restored this evening by all private cellular companies and the state run BSNL, almost ten hours after it was snapped in view of a CASO in Noorbagh area of the city, where a youth was killed.

The services were snapped today early morning soon after a civilian was killed in Bhagwanpora Noorbagh area of Srinagar. The internet services were also snapped in Budgam and Islamabad district of Kashmir due to the encounters.

A civilian identified as Saleem Malik, a resident of Bhagwan Pora Qamarwari area of Srinagar was killed during a Cordon and Search Operation in the area today early morning. Malik was later buried at Eidgah Srinagar amid clashes between the youth and government forces.
