Srinagar: Two revenue officials were killed and another was injured after a vehicle they were traveling in met an accident at Z-Gali in Machhil area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district late Sunday evening.
The accident took place after the car heading towards Kupwara turned turtle and rolled down into a deep gorge.

The deceased have been identified as Aijaz Ahmad Dar of Thayen Kalaroos and Syed Nayeem Ahmad Andrabi of Kantpora Lolab.

Reports said that the identified as Farooq Ahmad Dar of Sogam Lolab, was shifted to PHC Kalaroose where from he was referred to SDH Kupwara for further treatment.

They said that the slain were working as patwaris in the revenue department.
