‘Small men occupying big offices’: Imran responds to India’s cancellation of meet

Srinagar: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday hit out at India for negatively responding to his offer of “peace dialogue” and termed the response as arrogant.

Khan, however, said that all his life he has come across small men occupying big offices who do not have a vision to see the larger picture.

The former cricketer turned Prime Minister of Pakistan tweeted: “Disappointed at the arrogant & negative response by India to my call for resumption of peace dialogue. However, all my life I have come across small men occupying big offices who o not have vision to see the larger picture.”

He said that the response of India was disappointing.

India on Friday cancelled the scheduled meeting of its external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj with her Pakistan counterpart Shah mehmood Qureshi on the sidelines of UNGA.

The response, India claimed, was due to the killing of policemen in south Kashmir and Pakistan Post office issuing Burhan Wani postage stamps.
