Kashmiris face disappointment: Pak president on cancellation of talks by India

Srinagar: Pakistan president Dr Arif Alvi on Friday expressed resentment over the cancellation of talks by India at the sidelines of UNGA.

Dr Alvi said that the mutual reservations should have been placed on the table.

He said that the cancellation of talks only leads to the disappointment of Kashmir on the International Day of Peace.

He tweeted: “Sad to see India backing off from FM level talks. Mutual reservations could have been placed on the table. Kashmiris face only disappointment on #InternationalDayOfPeace PM @ImranKhanPTI’s outstanding peace overture negated in their usual belligerant manner (SIC)”.
