Srinagar: National Conference (NC) President  and member parliament Farooq Abdullah on Saturday visited the police headquarters Srinagar and met Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh to offer his condolences on the killing of three policemen in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

A police spokesman said that Farooq Abdullah today visited Police Headquarters (PHQ) here and met the DGP and senior police officers. He expressed his condolences to the bereaved families of three police personnel killed yesterday.

The Director General of Police Dilbag Singh thanked Dr Farooq Abdullah for his concern for the state police and told him that such a visit is a great morale booster for police personnel, the spokesman said.
