Srinagar:

The wreath laying ceremony for the three policemen abducted and killed by militants earlier today was held at District Police Lines in Shopian.

“Civil and Police officers led by IGP Kashmir SP Pani laid floral wreaths and paid rich tributes to the slain,” a police spokesperson said.

The function was also attended by DIG SKR, SSP Shopian, SSP Awantipora, SSP Kulgam, SSP Pulwama and other officers and jawans were present.

The slain were identified as Nisar Ahmad, Firdous Ahmad and Kuldeep Singh.
