Srinagar: Suspected militants late Tuesday night hurled a grenade on a joint camp of CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police in Kakapora area of Pulwama district.

Reports said that the suspected gunmen lobbed the grenade on the camp near railway station in Kakapora followed by heavy firing.

Meanwhile reports said that forces also retaliated to the firing.

Police sources said that the area is being condoned off and additional deployment of forces has been rushed to the spot.
