Srinagar: A fierce encounter has started between militants  and government forces in south Kashmir’s  Chowgam village of Devsar,  Kulgam which is close to o Qazigund.

According to official sources 3-4 militants are believed to be trapped inside a residential house near primary school.

The encounter was still on till the last reports came in as the two sides were exchanging intense fire.
