Anantnag: At least 150 persons have tested positive for hepatitis C in last fifteen days in Walarhama Pahalgam village in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Officials said that a total number of 1673 people were screened in last fifteen days and 150 among them have tested positive for hepatitis C. 

The tests were carried through “card method. “Now ElISAtest would be done to know which patient we have to treat. We are continuing screening in village,” the officials said. 

However, the officials said that those who have tested positive need not to panic.
