Srinagar: The cordon and search operation that began in Monday in Nowshera area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir continued on Tuesday for the second consecutive day.

Police officials said that the operation was suspended last night due to light constrains and has been resumed today morning.

Reports said forces conducted searches in several villages of Nowshera area of Rajouri district.

The search operation began on Monday morning after police sources said that they had inputs about suspicious movement of militants in the area.

The CASO is being conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army.
