Srinagar: A youth died of electrocution on Friday afternoon at Kharmode at Awantipora in southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The deceased has been identified as Jamshid Ahmad, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din, a resident of Kharpora Midoora in Tral.

The slain was rushed to to PHC Awantipora where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police have registered the case and taken up the investigations.
