Jammu:A Vaishno Devi pilgrim on Monday died of suspected cardiac arrest in Katra town of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pilgrim identified as Haripada Bhanja (73), resident of Putputia Tamluk Mednipur, West Bengal, this morning suddenly fell unconscious and was shifted to CHC Katra, police here said.

They added that the doctor declared him as brought dead, adding that the body was handed over to the family, after the legal formalities.
