Srinagar: The Sleuths of Crime Branch Jammu and Kashmir has conducted a raid on the official residence of senior bureaucrat MD Khan, seized some documents and arrested the officer for fudging his date of birth records.

Mehraj Din Khan, Commissioner secretary of ARI & Trainings department, was today arrested by the Sleuths of Crime Branch of J&K Police from his official residence, Cheshma shahi Huts for tampering his service record by changing his date of birth from November 1958 to November 1961, an official said.

Khan was earlier Commissioner secretary of consumer affairs and public distribution department.
