Srinagar : A serving Chief Engineer of UEED has come into  Vigilance net for having amassed huge movable/immovable properties, thereby raising property highly disproportionate to his known source of income.

According to sources Mohammad Haneef Lone who was I&FC Chief Engineer  before he was shifted to Chief Engineer J&K UEED was under Vigilance radar for quite some time his multiple residences were raided today, has resorted to corrupt and illegal practices. Consequent upon this case FIR No 29/2018 has been registered against the accused public servant in P/S VoK on 25.08.2018.

The sleuths of the vigilance organisation during the wee hours of 26th August conducted multiple raids at Srinagar, Jammu and Bandipora premises of the accused public Servant. It came to fore during the course of initial investigation that the accused has amassed huge assets

The investigation team during the course of raid was able to lay hands on many important documents ranging from bank receipts and various sale deed papers.
