Jalalabad: At least two people died on Saturday in a bomb explosion outside an election commission office in Jalalabad area of Afghanistan.

The suicide bombing took place near a tent where a group of people were protesting in support of a candidate disqualified from parliamentary elections due in October, media reports said.
Media reports quoted Najib Kamawal, Provincial health director confirming that two people have died.

Four people have sustained injuries in the blast.
