Srinagar: Police on Monday claimed to have solved the ATM card theft case of a Srinagar lady and arrested the accused resident of Shopian. 

According to Police spokesman the accused  Tufail Ahmad Sheikh S/O Ab Gani Sheikh R/O Gadapora ,Shopian  on July 20 this year  deceived and misused the ATM card of a lady namely Nighat Parveen D/O Hakim Ahmad R/O Lalbazar ,Srinagar.

“Tufail fraudulently made multiple cash transanctions of Rs 4000 and Rs 10000 respectively,” he said.

Maisuma Police Station launched the investigation of the case and after obtaining the CCTV footage, the accused was identified ‘by the cooperation of the general public’.
