Police blames HM for civilian killing in Pulwama, identifies two involved

Pulwama : Police Monday said that Hizbul Mujahedeen had abducted and subsequently killed a medical shop owner in Banpora Murran village of Pulwama district in south Kashmir last night.

Reports said that gunshots were heard in Murran Village around 10pm on Sunday and a bullet-riddled body was found early today morning.

The body has been identified as that of Gulzar Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Gani Bhat of Banpora Muran Pulwama.

Sources said that Gulzar was running a Medical Clinic in Bijbehara Anantnag.

According to Police militants  yesterday night barged inside the house of Bhat and abducted him.

” Initial investigation in the matter suggests that in this incident Zahoor Thokar & Showkat Dar led group of proscribed outfit HM are involved in this Killing,” police spokesman said .
