Police spokesman here said that the man, identified as Gopal Dass, resident of Circular Road, Lower Mast Garh, was intercepted on suspicion and during frisking, one country-made revolver and seven live cartridges were recovered from his possession in old city area.

A case under relevant sections was registered against him and investigations started.
