JeM militant arrested, explosives recovered in Anantnag: Police

Srinagar:  Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday arrested a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) militants and recovered huge cache of explosives and incriminating material from him in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.

A police official said following specific information, police arrested a 22-year-old youth, Muzamil Ahmad Dar, at Anantnag and recovered explosive materials from him.

During questioning, he said Dar revealed the location of a place, where huge cache of explosives and incriminating material, including Improvised Explosive Device (IED), grenades, Detonators, Safety fuse wire, Cordex wire, Safety Fuse, Black Explosive, White Explosive, Circuit wire, Mobile phones and Battery 12-Volt was kept.

“A team was rushed to the spot and the explosives and other materials were recovered,” he added.

“JeM militant arrested in Anantnag. Huge quantity of explosives and incriminating material recovered,” the official twitter handle of Kashmir Zone Police said.
