Srinagar:  Jammu Kashmir Police Chief SP Vaid Monday expressed happiness that people didn’t resort to any violence while observing a complete shutdown on the issue of Article 35 A.

He said Article 35 A is a political issue and the matter is now in Supreme Court. But, one thing gave me immense pleasure that despite observing a complete shutdown, people didn’t resort to violence anywhere.

“Though the shutdown was unprecedented but there was no untoward incident and it is a positive change.” (CNS)
