Jammu: Two persons were killed when a dumper plunged into a gorgre on Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district.

“A dumper skidded off the road this afternoon near Sangaldan and plunged into a deep gorge in Ramban district,” police said.

They said that the driver identified as Irshad Ahmed and his accomplice died the mishap.

The bodies have been retrieved and shifted to the district hospital for postmortem, police added.
