Amarnath yatri injured after bus engine explodes in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 1 (UNI) An Amarnath yatri was injured on Wednesday when the engine of a bus he was travelling in exploded in the summer capital, Srinagar.

A police officer said that engine of a Volvo bus, on way to Baltal base camp, allegedly exploded due to some technical fault at Lasjan bypass in Srinagar, resulting in injuries to a yatri, identified as Harish. “The injured was immediately taken to a hospital,” he said, adding other pilgrims in the bus are safe.
