Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday denied reports about protests after security force allegedly went berserk in Bijbehara in Anantnag district.

A police spokesman on official twitter account of District Police Anantnag said “ Some news media portal circulated, “protest erupt after forces allegedly went berserk in Bijbehara” The News is baseless, incorrect and is refuted”.

Meanwhile, shops and business establishments in the Bijbehara town on Srinagar-Jammu national are open and traffic is also plying normally. (UNI)
