Srinagar: Government forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in a village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

A group of army men,  police and SOG men laid a cordon around Kulhama village of the district this morning, sources said.

Following the cordon, search operation, were being carried out in the area.

The joint team, witnesses said were carrying out house to house searches suspecting presence of militants in the village.
