Awantipora: An Amarnath lady pilgrim died and two sustained injuries on Wednesday after the vehicle they were travelling collided with a school bus in Awantipora area.

The accident took place at new bypass near padgampora Awantipora and according to police officials the pilgrims were travelling in a Swift car when they rammed into DPS school bus.

The three injured were evacuated to to PHC Awantipora where Savita w/o Surinder Chowdhry 55 sucummbed to her injuries.

“Mukash Kumar s/o Ganga Ram, Reenu w/o Mukash Kumar R/o Lakshmi Nagar Jaipur are injured and are being treated,” police official said.
