Islamabad: At least six people were killed and 15 others injured in a road accident near Fatehpur in Pakistan’s Rahim Yar Khan district on Thursday morning.

The accident occurred when a truck collided with a bus on the national highway, a report in Radio Pakistan said.

Relief and rescue operations were underway.

The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained and the injured were rushed to Shaikh Zayed Medical Hospital in Rahim Yar Khan.

The deceased were yet to be identified.
