Srinagar : The Mughal Road, connecting the twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri in Jammu region with South Kashmir’s Shopian district, was closed for traffic following landslides in high altitude areas on Tuesday late evening.

Reports said that that the Mughal Road has been closed due to landslides caused by incessant rains at Chhatapani along the highway.

They said that the efforts are on to restore the road for the vehicular traffic.
