Kakinada: Eighteen students were injured when two APSRTC buses collided head-on near Thallarevu on the Kattipudi-Pamarru National Highway, about 25 kms from here on Tuesday.

The injured were rushed to government general hospital for treatment, Police said.

Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Home Nimmakayala Chinarajappa on his way from Amalapuram to Kakinada stopped at the scene of accident and enquired the villagers about the mishap, police added.

Thallarevu police have registered a case. (UNI)
