Killing of Faizan worst form of human rights violations : Qadeer

Srinagar :Voice of Victims (VoV), on Saturday condemned the killing of a fourteen-year-old boy Faizan Ahmad Khan by the government forces terming it as brutal and worst kind of human rights violation by forces in Jammu and Kashmir.

Faizan Ahmad son of Dr. Abdul Gani Khan from Khrew Pampore, a class 9th student was killed near the gunfight site at Chatpora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district by government forces .

Condemning the brutal killing, Executive Director of VoV Abdul Qadeer Dar said that government forces are carrying out the worst kind of Human Rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir under the state patronage.

“The Indian forces are on a killing spree. Even a 9th class student is shot in chest with an aim to kill. Human rights violations are on a rise in Kashmir and international community is providing a deaf ear to the miseries of Kashmiris faced on a daily basis at the hands of Indian government forces,” Qadeer said.

He said that despite a full-fledged UNHRC report on human rights violations in Kashmir carried out by Indian government forces , Indian government is on a mission ‘Operation Wipe Out’.
