Srinagar : A special police officer on Wednesday decamped with a service rifle from Pampore police station in south Kashmir’s Pampore area of Pulwama district.

Reports said that  Irfan Ahmad Dar, a resident of Nehana Kakapora, Pulwama went missing along with his service rifle from the police Station Pampore since last night.

A manhunt to trace the missing cop has been initiated, they said.
