Srinagar: Two militants have been killed in an ongoing gunfight in Nazneenpora area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday, police said.

Director General of Police Kashmir S P Avid in a tweet said “Encounter going on at Hyena Tral, 3 important JEM Terrorists trapped, 2 appearently neutralised. Good luck to our boys fighting”.

Earlier gunfight was tagged between militants and government forces this afternoon at the village.

Following the encounter  clashes were also going on near the encounter site.
