Government forces on Monday has called extra reinforcement to Panar forests in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

The reinforcements including paratroopers have been called to fight a group of militants who are said to have gone hiding in said forests.

Sources said that the firing on going on since Saturday evening in which two army men have been reported injured so far.

Pertinently the firing was going on since past two days while as heavy exchange of gunfire was also reported from the forests early today.

The area has also been sealed.
