An attempt to abduct a man in North Kashmir’s Bandipora area of Hajin by unidentified masked men was foiled by the villagers by raising the alarm, sources said.

“The incident took place at Hajin village when few masked men tried to kidnap Shahid Ahamd Khan, 25, son of Habibullah Khan, a resident of Chrengpora Banyari village of Hajin whike he was working in paddy field,” sources said.
