A minor was killed in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, on Monday after tractor rammed over him, sources said.

Sources said that the accident happened on late Sunday.

The boy has been identified as Sajad Ahmad Lone son of Ghulam Mohammad Lone (12) a resident of Akhal Kangan.

“He died after hit by a tractor travelling from Akhal to Kangan near his residence at Akhal”.

He was rushed to hospital where he died.

Meanwhile police have registered a case in this connection and arrested the tractor driver identified as Bilal Ahmad Ganai son of Abdul Majeed Ganai, a resident of Akhal.
