Srinagar: Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Syed Aabid Rashid Shah has said that the renovation of Kashmir Press Club structure will begin immediately so as to make the building operational.

DC Srinagar said this after a meeting of a committee constituted for the renovation of Kashmir Press Club (Aiwan-e-Sahafat) building.

A statement issued here said that “during the meeting, various issues regarding the renovation of Press Club building were discussed.”

The meeting was attended to by the members of the committee which include joint director Information Department (Kashmir) Sajid Yehaya Naqash, SE R&B, Exen Estates, Interim body (adhoc body Press Club), represented by television journalists Shuja-ul-Haq and Asif Qureshi.
