Chairman Hurriyat conference Syed Ali shah Geelani on Thursday demanded  an international probe into the incident involving Major Gogoi   who  was arrested  with a  girl in a Srinagar hotel

Referring to the recent incident of sexual assault in one of the prominent Hotel in Srinagar, Geelani alleged  that “Indian forces were using rape and sexual exploitation as a war weapon.”

While strongly condemning the continuous sexual assault and molestation of innocent girls by  Indian armed forces. Geelani  said, “Maj Gogoi like black sheep were tormenting all ethics and are involved in devilish deeds of sexual exploitation of innocent girls.”

Geelani also said that the recent incident of molestation and murder of a minor girl in Kathua had shaken the collective conscience of the Kashmiri people and this incident now  had  affirmed the  claim that presence of Indian forces in civilian localities was a source of extreme nuisance.

He also reiterated his demand for exemplary punishment for those involved in Kunan Poshpora mass rape incident.

Geelani also criticized the administration for its careless approach towards the incident and in his fervent appeal asked people to boycott Iftaar parties, medical camps, Bharat Darshan and other activities organized by Indian forces, terming these activities as ‘a part of cultural aggression’ and added “Indian authorities were hell bent to dilute the Kashmiri culture through  ‘mischievous
