Srinagar: Senior journalist Barkha Dutt has defended Major Gogoi who was caught with a minor girl in a hotel in Srinagar

Barkha tweeted why police had intervened if it was consensual even when the police is investigating the age of the girl.

“If it is consensual why the police,” she tweeted, questioning the police investigation and defending Major gogoi

Gogoi was arrested along with the minor girl at Hotel mamta and later handed over to the police.
