The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir salvation movement Zaffer Akber Bhat on Wednesday condemned the firing on “innocent people” on an iftar party at Shopian district in South Kashmir.

Zafar while condemning the unprovoked firing on the civilians demanded impartial investigation.

He further said that the force’s can kill at their will as they continue remain laced with the black laws like AFSPA under which they enjoy full impunity.

JKSM spokesperson in a statement denounced the continuous police detention Zaffar Akbar, and termed his detention as “political revenge” and “highly deplorable” and demands his early release.
