Five youth were detained by the government forces during night raids in Zainageer area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that the youth were detained during past couple of days.

They added that the detention is aiming to nab the assailants of a civilian Muhammad Ashraf Mir by unknown gunmen and injuring his wife earlier this month.

Police officials said the youth have been detained for questioning.
