Hurriyat Conference (G) General Secretary, Haji Ghulam Nabi Sumji on Monday appealed Kashmiris to donate fervently to All Parties Hurriyat Conference for carrying forward its mission in the month of Ramadhan.
In a statement issued here , Sumji said that Hurriyat Conference has always pursued the noble mission of helping unprivileged and those in distress.
While appealing for charity donations for the Hurriyat in the month of Ramadan, Sumji said Ramazan is the month of patience, tolerance and sympathy and that Muslims all over the world donate generously in this month for their downtrodden brethren.
Adding that Ramadhan is the month of charity that creates a beautiful environment of helping each otherHe further added that fasting taught a noble lesson of feeling pain of those who are needy and unprivileged.
Sumji stressed that for the last seven decades Kashmiris have presented unparalleled sacrifices and nourished movement with their blood, “Hundreds are languishing in jails and detention centers and their families are in distress and looking for our help,” he said
